| I am a native speaker of German and have a German Master's Degree in Specialised Translation.
I have lived in Germany for most of my life, but am currently living and working in Australia. My language pairs are German to English and vice versa and Spanish to German. However, I do feel confident about translation from Spanish to English as well. I specialised in technical/scientific and economic texts. I particularly like medical translations and the topic of my Master's thesis was "Translation of a technical text from German into English including an introduction to the topic of endosonography in gastroenterology." I would love to translate film scripts which made me write my Bachelor's thesis on "TV Dubbing: An Analysis of the German-Dubbed Version of Friends". |
