| I was born and raised in Aruba, in a multi-lingual environment. I have lived in the US for the past 24 years. My fluent languages include English, Dutch, Papiamento, Spanish and Afrikaans. I can also communicate and read in both Haitian Creole and Patua (spoken in Dominica, West Indies). I’m also currently in the process of mastering American Sign Language. I dedicate a large portion of my time working in the community. I am a certified Special Education Teacher, with a Masters in Educational Leadership.
